English Civil War

Yeah...I started another range. These are 28mm Scots Covananters. So far I only have one regiment of Pike and Shit, one Saker cannon, and one detachment of commander Shot- about 850 points using Warhammer English Civil War.

Only three figures painted, two pike and the ensign. Scots units were dressed in a flodden grey by the goverment, and so this first unit is going to be generic troops. I'll get a bit of color in another regiment later.

The end goal for this army is six regiments of foot, two squadrons of cavalry, another artillery piece, and army command.

Interestingly enough, a great ancestor of mine, Sir George Downing, fought in these wars for both sides...I'll probly do a figure of him at some point.
